I Have Mass At The Base Of My Tongue A

I have mass at the base of my tongue a biosphy was done at it came back ok but the net is saying I might have sarcoids since a mass is on my lungs along with dense granunomalas. So now it's off to a thoracic doctor. Can the Masson my tongue be taken out.
