I Have Minor Neck And Shoulder Pain. Not Sure If

I have minor neck and shoulder pain. Not sure if it is joint or muscle or both. It seems to be chronic. Otherwise I seem to be healthy. I am a 72 year old male. Relatively active. Seems like I started to notice it in early fall. (August - Oct).
have not visited my local physician yet.
