I Have Missed My Period But I Have Recently Been

I have missed my period but I have recently been diagnosed with gallstones. I have had to go to the hospital a couple of times and the pregnancy test keeps showing up negative. I also have sickle cell. This is my first time ever missing my period. What could it be.
