I Have Missed Two Periods So Far And Took Pregnancy

I have missed two periods so far and took pregnancy tests, but they are all negative. I am currently trying to conceive, so not taking birth control. But my doctor said it is normal to miss my period and I'm probably not pregnant if the tests are negative. I just need a second opinion.
