I Have Neuropathy In My Feet, Bilaterally And It Is

I have neuropathy in my feet, bilaterally and it is starting to move up mt lower legs. I am a recovering alcoholic and have fallen down a flight of stairs twice. I do not have and have no family history of diabetes. I have been on both Neurotin and Lyrica. Which is the best medication for me? I am an registered nurse. I have been providing home health care for the past 12 years and now going back to the acute care setting. Any information and suggestions are appreciated.Thank you.
