I Have No Spit Gland On Either. It's Hard Taking

I have no spit gland on either. It's hard taking pills for me. But I was taking my bedtime pills & one got stuck in my throat. It was my Zoloft pill. It desolved on left side of my throat. Within 2 seconds my throat was litterly on fire. This was 3 nights ago. Finally today it's not burning but hurts so bad to swollow. What chemical is in Zoloft that would cause so much burning and pain
