I Have Not Been Able To Straighten My Left Knee

I have not been able to straighten my left knee for nearly a week. It throne and is difficult to put pressure on.
I think it will get better the more I walk but it hasn't. Is this something more than osteoarthritis and something more major? I have been using ice and elevation to relieve some of the pain.
