I Have Notice Today A "burning" Pain Sensation In My

I have notice today a "burning" pain sensation in my right forearm, under the skin. It is mostly on the top side of the arm but is noticeable on the bottom. The pain feels like it starts in the center of the arm and radiates quickly to the top of the skin. It makes me wince when it happens which is multiple times per hour, but doesn't last but a few seconds. I am a 58 yer old male, type 2 diabetic, but otherwise in good health. Any ideas?
