I Have Noticed A Small Area( Shaped Like A Triangle)

I have noticed a small area( shaped like a triangle) on my right areola, which is lighter than the rest of the nipple. Just noticed it, don't know how long it has been there. It is also smooth, which is unusual. I had a normal mammogram, last summer, I think.
