I Have Noticed Small Blood Spots On My Pillow. I

I have noticed small blood spots on my pillow. I dont have bed bugs, its not from my nose or ears from what I can tell. I do have dry scalp, but its not severe just enough to cause flakes, small scab/scales (smaller than my pinky nail and they dont bleed when I remove them) and some minor itching occasionally. But Im confused to why Im finding small blood spots on my pillow, can you tell me why?
