I Have Numbness Across The Bridge Of My Nose That

I have numbness across the bridge of my nose that radiates into my eyes when my eyes become tired. This started after cataric surgery when I began having fluid and swelling behind my left eye. The numbness did not begin right away when the swelling and fluid began. I am seeing a retnia specialist who is doing the injections to reduce the fluid. They tell me they do not know what has caused the swelling and fluid and that they do not know why I would have numbness. I have had an CT Scan and it came back normal. Do you have any idea what could cause this? What type of Dr. should I be seeing?
