I Have One Tonsil That Has Been Swollen For The

I have one tonsil that has been swollen for the last 2.5 months with 1 - 2 white spots. I have a lot of post-nasal drip and dark green phlegm. My throat is very sore, esp when I eat. My voice is often hoarse. And I am very tired. I am also on some immunosuppressive meds. I have been told it is a virus and/or allergies. Do you agree that I should go back to the doctor? My last visit was 3 weeks ago.
