I Have Open Wounds In My Legs From Lymphedema. I've

I have open wounds in my legs from lymphedema. I've had them for nine years. I've had lymphedema for 62 years. Lately, I've been having horrible pains in my calves. I thought it was sciatica, but the pain centers around my largest wounds. I get MRSA and pseudomonas infections a few times a year. The doctor said I've had them so often they are colonized and will never completely go away. Could my pains be because the infections have gotten to the nerves? I can't take the medicine for neuopathy. Tried it and had a reaction.
