I Have Osgood Schlatters Disease On My Left Knee. I

I have osgood schlatters disease on my left knee. I had it checked by a Dr. about 15 yrs ago. Recently I have been more active and there is very mild discomfort/pressure that builds up in that area. Also, I feel like the "bump" might have enlarged slightly. Im 28 years old and was told I would grow out of this years ago. Should I consider having this "bump" removed?
