I Have Pain In My Left Arm Which Happens Every

I have pain in my left arm which happens every 2 months when I swim continuously. X-ray shows I have calcification and I got a cortisone shot last April 17. So the pain is back but it’s not as bad as it was before. I’ve actually been swimming still. So what exactly is calcification. I’m 60 years old female
