I Have Pain In My Left Heel. It First Developed

I have pain in my left heel. It first developed 2 months ago. It has been on and off. There is no visible swelling and no discoloration. it intensifies when I do physical activity (I am a basketball official). I have not worn the shoes I was wearing since the onset, and it has not gotten worse, but it has not gone away. I have also started wearing arch supports, but that has not made it go away.
