I Have Pain In My Legs And Hips. The Pain

I have pain in my legs and hips. The pain runs down my outer leg to knee. I cannot have any touching no matter how gently on either of my legs. What could it be?
Doctor I saw recently said it could this very long set of words it started with R as in RAD or something like it
