I Have Pain In My Rib Cage, On The Front

I have pain in my rib cage, on the front of my right rib cage. It started 5 days ago and has gotten more painful since then. I had a doctor appointment for something else on Monday and the doctor felt my ribs then, said my liver was not enlarged, and she thought it might be the muscles attached to my ribs that I might have bruised. It is now hard to get up from a chair and out of my car because of the pain. Should I go see a doctor again or take Advil for the pain? Thank you
