I Have Pain In My Right Elbow Which Is Similar

I have pain in my right elbow which is similar to what I've experienced many years ago as tendonitis. Years ago, meloxicam resolved my issue. With this recent pain, I took meloxicam for 15 days...it decreased the pain but did not resolve the issue for me. Is it possible this is still tendonitis or is there other potential issues similar to carpal tunnel only in the elbow? I also hear small snaps or pops from my elbow when moving it at times. I have hypothyroidism and take daily medication. My dosage has recently been checked and is fine. Not sure if it matters or would make a difference, but I had major surgery to remove a 15 pound tumor in April. The surgery resulted in a full hysterectomy. I started having problems with my elbow about a month or so after the surgery and it has just gotten much worse.
