I Have Pain In One Testicle That Seems To Be

I have pain in one testicle that seems to be retracted again. I think it's related to strain but wonder how to get it to drop again to relieve the pain. I had mumps at 15 years and they "went down" on me and have not had that testicle fully develope. Suggestions?
