I Have Pain In The Joints Of My Hands. There

I have pain in the joints of my hands. There was a x-ray done and I have arthritis and was told it was what would be expected in a 52 year old. I take several medications for diabetes, HIV. Can this be causing the pain? On a scale from 1 to 10 at times it would rate a 9. Rarely the joints almost lock up.
