I Have Pain In The Lower Right Side Almost To

I have pain in the lower right side almost to the groin. . When I talked to my doctor about the pain she said it is probably a nerve and didn't bother to refer me to anyone . I don't think she is right about that because it feels like something inside swells up and causes severe pain. It is worse when I am on my feet for long periods of time. I want to see another Physician but don't know what kind of doctor to go to.
