I Have Pain Like A Kidney Stone In My Left

I have pain like a kidney stone in my left side down close to the waist line .Went to my urologist today no stone. Felt great until now but the pain just came back. bowel movements are like flat strips. seems colon related what do you think? Starting to feel nauseous and fever.
