I Have Pain On Right Side Of Neck It Is

I have pain on right side of neck it is tender to touch. It does not hurt when I turn head to right but I feel a pull when I turn to left. I have full range of motion but with some pain. I'm not sure if it's pinched nerve or something scarcely like cancer.
