I Have Pain That Started Two Days Ago. It Is

I have pain that started two days ago. It is tender just left of the xyphoid and then radiates under my left rib cage through my back. It' s not epigastric, but more of a colicky dull discomfort. It is tender and painful on palpation however.
My concern in spleen or pancreas. I am a nurse, so going to the doctor to tend to myself is the last resort (nurses make horrible patients) .
