I Have Pain Under My Left Collar Above The Breast

I have pain under my left collar above the breast that goes under my arm pit & up to the neck left shoulder & shoulder blade. It's been about 3 weeks now. My doctor says its muscular but I'm not convinced. It hurts when I breathe at times & when I lift anything it's worse.
