I Have Pain When I Swallow Mostly Things Like Salad

I have pain when I swallow mostly things like salad and vegetables. Liquids, bread and soft foods fine. I take calcium and and a couple of other large pills in morning. Also take two Aleve at night. Can't quit calcium because of osteoporosis. Could swallowing problem be related to pills. I am not a huge water drinker but try and drink wh take medications. How long does it take to heal?
