I Have Pancreatic Cancer And Secondary Liver Cancer They Put

I have pancreatic cancer and secondary liver cancer they put a stent in which I have had pain and infection in since they put in 6 weeks ago. Infection is meant to have gone but the pain and slight fever has started again. They say on my notes that there is no duct dilation so do I really need this stent in as my jaundice was clearing up its self before they put in the stent.
