I Have Pink Eye. I Am Allergic To Sulfur. The

I have pink eye. I am allergic to sulfur. The doctor at an out patient clinic prescribed Polymyxin B Sulfate and Trimethoprim Ophthalmic solution. When I questioned the pharmacist, he said that this prescription was ok for me to take. After two doses(1 drop every 4 hrs). Both of my eyes do not show any improvement. Is the prescription incorrect because it contains a sulfur derivative? My eyes have appeared to have swollen and appear to be getting worse. Should I see my regular doctor tomorrow?
