I Have Pretty Severe Pain In Both Shoulders. I Used

I have pretty severe pain in both shoulders. I used to have popping/snapping sounds for some time, but that has lessened as the soreness has increased. The pain wakes me up at night, and I need to take Aleve or similar to get sleep lately. At certain angles the pain gets worse. I have not had any injury to my shoulders that would explain this situation. Shoulders have gotten progressively worse over last 6-9 months. I am 55 years old.
