I Have Quite A Few Little Pimples And A Couple

I have quite a few little pimples and a couple of larger ones on my temples. They are red bumps that don't look like they have white heads. They almost look like a rash when I don't have any makeup on. I just want to know if they might be an infection of some kind? Or even dermatitis? I am not sure what to do about it as I do not want to spread them if it is an infection with wearing makeup or cleaning my face. Thanks in advance.
