I Have Recently Been DX With Angioedema And Was Told

I have recently been DX with angioedema and was told to take hydroxyzine 25mg. I also have an autoimmune disorder that they can't pinpoint and has not responded to more than a dozen medications in addition I have a c 3-4,5-6 spinal problem and a little nerve damage. Sunday night I started taking the hydroxyzine and became really dry. The next morning I started drinking lots of water then I made the mistake of drinking a 90 ml cup of Noplea ( An elixer I got from the health food store for inflammation). Shortly afterwards my nose stopped up where I could only breath out of my mouth and within minutes my throat and mouth started tingling. I had 3 prednisone tablets in my medicine cabinet so I took one with immediate relief. My question is, Was I having an allergic reaction to the Nopea or hydroxyzine? I'm apprehensive about taking the hydroxyzine. The Nopea I threw away.
