I Have Recently Been Drinking Fireball Whisky. Up Until A

I have recently been drinking fireball whisky. Up until a couple months ago I wasn't a big drinker. I limited my drinks to one beer or one glass of wine every couple of weeks. Lately though I've drinking fireball 2-3 times per week. This morning after a long night of drinking a lot of shots mixed with mountain dew chasers my stool has been red, possibly bloody. Can whisky cause this or could there be another present?
