I Have Recently Had An Endoscope Done And It Showed

I have recently had an endoscope done and it showed that 80% of my esophagus is ulcerated. I am on 40mg of pantoprozole twice daily. When can i expect some relief? It hurts to drink water and i can't eat. I was also on saline drip for 4 days and my mouth tastes salty.... I am wondering if the salt from the saline is also causing the tissue to be sensitive.
