I Have Recently (past Four Days) Been Experiencing Visual Field

I have recently (past four days) been experiencing visual field loss in one eye.. There's no pain, it is worse when in sunlight but present at all times I believe. I wear glasses and this is Mt "lazy" eye
. I am overdue for an eye exam with an optometrist. Is this a good place to start? What would you recommend?
