I Have Recently Started Taking Metformin , And Prenatal Vitamin's.

I have recently started taking metformin , and prenatal vitamin's. The past 2 days when going to the bathroom my stool has been very bloody, turn the water in toilet dark red. Is this normal ? I'm very concerned . I started taking the medication Saturday and its now Tuesday .
