I Have Red Bumps On The Back Of My Tongue

I have red bumps on the back of my tongue that go as far down as I can see, my tongue is also white back there but the front is fine, it hurts to swallow, I've had a fever and I have headaches. Could this be strep or something else?what I thought was a cold sore on my gums turned out to be more of a patch when I looked at it
