I Have Red Itchy Bumps On My Arms, Legs Stomach

I have red itchy bumps on my arms, legs stomach and back, I Have been to a dermatologist, they don't know at this point what this is, Dr says it isn't scabies or folliculitis, biopsy and culture have been done but don't have results yet, they are leaning towards something viral. If so I cant take anything for this? because its viral? I cant continue to live with this itch, its insanely bad at night. they take forever to heal.
