I Have Red Itchy Bumps That Break Open And Bleed

I have red itchy bumps that break open and bleed on my face and head. they have also been on my arms and legs (which is where they first started). A dermatologist once tested the bumps and told me years ago it was some type of non-contagious skin disease. I am trying to recall the name and wonder if a dermatologist on staff has any ideas? If I hear the name of it I will remember it.... just can't recall it. Once I know what it is, I am going to ask how I best treat this. It's gotten much worse over the last 5 years and the head bumps are new in the last few months. I need to start doing something at home and will also go see my dermatologist again.
