I Have Red Spots On My Chest And Frontal Part

I have red spots on my chest and frontal part of the right shoulder and a small spot on the upper left side of my forehead. The spots are mostly dark red in color and one area is somewhat purple. Could this be a bacterial or fungal infection? Does it sound like either it could be purpura or tinea and if so, what would be the preferred treatment? Thank you.
