I Have Reoccurring Brown Discharge (I Think It's Old Blood?)

I have reoccurring brown discharge (I think it's old blood?) right after my periods, and sometimes before menstruation. I don't have any abdominal pain and my period is normal and after it goes away, everything is back to normal. I was just wondering if this was something to be worried about?
