I have sarcoidosis. Just got off 6 months of prednisome. Now I can hardly breathe when I walk. Feb 10 CT scan shows
CT Chest:
Mediastinum, great vessels, and hilar structures: Mild mediastinal and bilateral hilar adenopathy grossly similar to the unenhanced study of 10/1/2015.
Lung parenchyma: Multifocal irregularly marginated pulmonary nodules and peribronchial thickening have progressed in the interval..
Pleura: No significant effusion.
Chest wall and musculoskeletal: Multilevel thoracic spine degenerative changes.
Visualized portions of the upper abdominal organs: Multiple liver and splenic lesions similar to the prior study. Upper abdominal adenopathy, similar to the prior study.
Impression
IMPRESSION:
1. Stable mild mediastinal and bilateral hilar adenopathy.
2. Interval mild progression of bilateral pulmonary nodules with peribronchial vascular thickening.
3. Partially visualized stable liver and splenic lesions.
4. Partially visualized stable mild upper abdominal adenopathy.
