I Have Scaring Of The Right Temporal Lobe Of The

I have scaring of the right temporal lobe of the brain the result of neurosurgery to remove other scaring that caused epilepsy. During the surgery the surgeon said what they attempted to get out was more like rope that that which could be removed by a vacuum type technique. In any event this meant cutting out the material from the brain which then had to be re-sectioned. Could this lead to such things as memory loss or even have the same affects as altzeimer's disease?
