I Have Sciatica In Right Buttock & Down Right Leg

I have sciatica in right buttock & down right leg x 2 weeks taking nurofen express paracetamol & Valium have had 2 sessions of physio due another one tomorrow but have quite a lot of pain /spasm / tension in right calf worse today than any other day difficult to weight bear applying heat eases after awhile any other suggestions welcome ?
