I Have Scoliosis Been Off Work For Over A Year

I have scoliosis been off work for over a year had a work-related injury to my back and left side which left me in a lot of pain and unable to walk on both feet. The doctor states that the MRI in the x-rays shows 44 degree scoliosis my scoliosis but will not make me disabled when they know they cannot live in my condition what should I do.
