I Have Serious Femur Pain. An X-ray Revealed Nothing And

I have serious femur pain. An x-ray revealed nothing and a ct scan showed only a small synovial herniation. The pain is on a relatively small area on the outer leg that feels like it is on the bone about half way between the knee and hip. The pain is worse with putting weight on the leg, if I hold up the leg it feels worse. It can also hurt if I lay too long in the wrong position. I can find a small spot that is sore to pressure.
