I Have Severe Allergeries. Sinus Drip. Sometimes The Mucus Drips

I have severe allergeries. Sinus drip. Sometimes the mucus drips down to my chest. I am using the Vicks Vaporizers that helps. Sometimes I am short of breath when I feel the mucus in my throat and chest. Cannot take Flonaze due to having a cateract. Any suggestions how to keep the mucus from dripping into my chest. I use Mucinex- helps a little. Easy for me to vomit the mucus up but, don't want to keep vomiting. Any other medications I can take to keep mucus from dripping into my chest? Very annoying .
