I Have Severe Back And Leg Pain My MRI Results

I have severe back and leg pain my MRI results are: "Large posterior disc protrusion at L4-5 level with associated acute annular tear with superior migration of the disc to lie behind the L4 vertebra on the left and compromise of the left lateral recess and displacing the proximal descending left L4 nerve root and also left sided foramina comprised sue to disc. Severe canal stenosis at this level. Facet joint arthrosis". My injury happened six weeks ago and I have been prescribed Endone, Diazapan and nerve pain tablets, I can feel a slight improvement in the pain. Should I be doing any stretches or excercises at this stage - if so what? Thanking you
