I Have Severe Back Pain Due To A Pinched Nerve.

I have severe back pain due to a pinched nerve. My pcp gives me Norco, but the pain subsides briefly. I also take meds for anxiety which doesn't help either. One day, my cousin saw how much pain i was in and gave me a Xanax, within 15 mins the pain was gone. The next day I took a Norco with the second half and was pain free for 2 days. I want to ask my pcp for a prescription. I've been living with pain for so long, I'm at the end of my rope
