I Have Severe Leg Pain In Both Legs Only At

I have severe leg pain in both legs only at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. I had these since I was a child and my dad would rub them with alcohol and it helped. Now that I am 60 yrs old they are getting worse nd I end up crying myself to sleep or just getting up and staying up. I have mental issues for which I take medicine but I don't think they play a role in this problem. Am I low on vitamins, iron or what. Please help.
